Judge is a Christian and has posted about his faith on his Twitter account. He keeps a note on his phone that reads “.179”, his batting average with the Yankees in 2016, and looks at it daily as a source of motivation. Judge appeared on the cover of the edition of May 15, 2017, of Sports Illustrated. On May 15, 2017, he appeared on an episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon where he posed undercover to ask Yankee fans questions about himself. On November 6, 2017, it was revealed that Judge would be the cover athlete for MLB The Show 18, as well as an endorsement deal with Pepsi. For the 2018 season, Judge signed an endorsement deal with Adidas, finishing his contract with Under Armour he had since 2014. Judge has earned praise for his humble personality and willingness to be a team player. Judge married Samantha Bracksieck in December 2021. Judge founded the Aaron Judge All Rise Foundation. He attended Linden High School, where he performed brilliantly in sports. He played baseball, football, as well as basketball. He was also a member of the Linden High School team that made it to the Division III playoffs of the California Interscholastic Federation. During the 31st round of the 2010 Major League Baseball Draft, he was selected by the Oakland Athletics. He, however, chose to play for the California State University’s Fresno State Bulldogs Baseball Team. Aaron Judge is an American professional baseball player who joined the Major League Baseball (MLB) in 2013 after he was selected by the New York Yankees in the first round of that year’s draft, with the 32nd overall pick. Before he made his way into the MLB, the outfielder played high school baseball at Linden High School. He also played as a wide receiver and center for the school’s football and basketball teams. As a result of his outstanding record in the three sports, he drew the attention of different colleges which recruited him to play football but he chose to pursue a career in baseball. He was so good at baseball that despite his zero college baseball experience, the Oakland Athletics picked him in the 31st round of the 2010 MBL draft, but following the advice of his parents, he turned down the offer in favor of a college career with the Fresno State Bulldogs of the California State University, Fresno (Fresno State).
