1st: ENHYPEN’s Heesung
In the 1st rank, ENHYPEN’s Heesung has the best vocals in this group. He has a strong voice character and can hit the high notes very well, even when compared to K-Pop male idols in the 4th generation. ENHYPEN’s Heesung also has strength in his riffs and a mostly falsetto vocal type.
ENHYPEN’s Heesung’s lower register is one of his best abilities while singing since it’s significantly easy and supported. He can also sing until F#3 -> E4 and has the mixed register that needs work. In “Given Taken”, he can also push his vocal rank until B4. He has very potential vocal strength and mostly stood out from any member.
2nd: ENHYPEN’s Jungwon
In the 2nd rank, ENHYPEN’s Jungwon received the position as one of the best vocalists of the group after Heesung. His vocal range can support from E3 -> D4 with relative consistency. He is also very relaxed when it comes to singing live on stage than other members. He also has stable vocals that you can listen to from the MR Removed.
For his weakness, ENHYPEN’s Jungwon has weaker agility than Heesung, but his falsetto is already improved. Compared to his skills during ‘I-LAND’, ENHYPEN’s Jungwon already has much better skills while he shows off his vocal skills on “I Like It” cover. Overall, his intonation is more consistent than Heesung’s and has excellent potential.
3rd: ENHYPEN’s Jay
In the 3rd rank, ENHYPEN’s Jay got the best vocal skill after Heesung and Jungwon. It has strength when it comes to the intonation among the members of the group. Although it doesn’t have a lot of lines in the song, it’s enough to support the vocal line and make a beautiful harmony while performing.
ENHYPEN’s Jay’s belt is also quite decent and has relatively good breathing technique. He has excellent singing skills and is doing the best job when it comes to singing for an idol singer. He also has good potential because of his very soothing vocal character.
4th: ENHYPEN’s Sunoo
ENHYPEN’s Sunoo received the 4th rank in vocals. It has good sound quality, and the potential to get more lines is wide open. His vocal range which can be accessed to low key in E3 makes him have an excellent ability to reach a wide range until high belts in A4.
On the other hand, he also has almost the same shortcomings as ENHYPEN’s Jay because, until now, he is still in low support when it comes to the vocal line. He still has the potential to be improved into a better singer in the future since he has to correct inconsistencies when it comes to intonation with his excellent stamina.
5th: ENHYPEN’s Sunghoon
ENHYPEN’s Sunghoon received the 5th rank in vocals. He’s more likely the type of member with the sub-vocalist position and supports the group with his fine vocal skills. On the other side, the agency didn’t give a well-trained ENHYPEN’s Sunghoon to improve his vocal skills so they could be developed into a more comprehensive vocal range.
ENHYPEN’s Sunghoon has a unique voice with his airy-type character. He has also shown a slight improvement after his appearance in ‘I-LAND’ and has reasonable control when it comes to vocal techniques. For his weakness, ENHYPEN’s Sunghoon has the worst stamina among other members and mostly skips the most lines while singing.
6th: ENHYPEN’s Ni-ki
ENHYPEN’s Ni-ki received the 6th rank in vocals. He has excellent potential while singing and should be supported to get his best skills to improve his vocal skills. ENHYPEN’s Ni-ki’s intonation is pretty good, but his upper register may be very limited. He also has relatively good intonation.
His appearance in ‘I-LAND’ was very challenging for him since there were limitations to his vocal range. But now, he has a more comprehensive vocal range and can hit the same not without sounding strained and tight.
7th: ENHYPEN’s Jake
ENHYPEN’s Jake received the 7th rank in vocals. Even though he is in the lowest rank, it doesn’t mean he has terrible vocal skills. ENHYPEN’s Jake has a position as the rapper and dancer of the group, which could mean that his vocal skills are less prominent than the other talents.
He has a vocal technique that is less satisfying than the other members when it comes to singing. But on the other hand, he is a pretty good rapper. ENHYPEN’s Jake is also very good with his high notes than Ni-ki. For his vocal tone, he seemed pushed a bit while singing and sounded tight sometimes.
