Lee Tae-yong was born on July 1st, 1995, in Seoul, South Korea. Tae-yong is a South Korean singer, rapper, dancer, songwriter, and producer. He is a member of SM Entertainment’s Boy Band NCT and its subgroups NCT U and NCT 127. He is the main rapper, main dancer, visual, center and face of the group in NCT, and he is the leader of NCT 127. Tae-yong was discovered by an SM Entertainment casting agent in front of his school in 2012, and joined SM Entertainment through the SM Casting System the same year. He was introduced as a member of SM Rookies in December 2013. In October 2014, before debuting, Tae-yong collaborated with Red Velvet on the song “Be Natural.” On April 5th, 2016, Tae-yong was introduced as the third member of the first subunit of the NCT male singer group, NCT U. The group made its stage debut on April 15th, 2016, on Music Bank.

One of the NCT members, Taeyong, has been the subject of conversation lately because of his behavior. In an interview published in Wikitree, a schoolmate of Taeyong claimed the attitude of the idol fostered by the SM Entertainment agency was somewhat controversial at school. Taeyong’s school friend said that the 25-year-old man often bullied his friends and was picky with friends. “He is only good to children who are beautiful and cool. But beyond that, he is really not fun,” said Taeyong’s Middle School friend, on Thursday, September 19th, 2019. A similar assessment about Taeyong was also conveyed by a former SM Entertainment trainee. Through the Instagram Story feature, the trainee demonstrated that Taeyong likes to wrestle. Because of Taeyong’s bad attitude, this man said that trainees at SM Entertainment no longer defended him. “His behavior is very bad. All these accusations are true,” he said. The agency where Taeyong is ruled gave a response regarding this accusation. Through an official statement, SM Entertainment said it had clarified the accusation to Taeyong and his family because it was related to incidents that had occurred about 10 years ago. “We asked for records from his family, including notes from the school to get an overview,” wrote SM Entertainment, on Friday, September 20th, 2019. Kim Jae-joong was offered the leading role for the drama remake of the American comedy TV series, Jane the Virgin.
