Meet EXO’s Leader, Suho
Who doesn’t know about EXO? we bet you’ve heard about this boy-group at least once, right? Suho is the leader of the group. His real name is Kim Jun-myeon (김준면), but he doesn’t want to use this name as his idol name because ‘Myeon’ means ramen in Korean. He became the first member of EXO and joined SM Entertainment as a trainee when he was 16 years old. He lives with his family in Gangnam-gu. He enrolled in Kyung Hee Cyber University in 2012. Also in 2012, EXO made its debut and Suho became the leader of the group. EXO debuted with MAMA and, since then, they’ve always produced great music and performances every year. Let’s check out Suho’s style in each EXO era!
Suho’s Awesome Styles Through Every EXO Era (Predebut – 2018)
Before talking about his stage style, let’s take a look at his personal style. Lately, when he’s offstage Suho’s often spotted wearing a white T-shirt from various brands such as Off-White, Bianca Chandôn, and Maison Kitsune. It shouldn’t be a surprise, since he comes from a wealthy family and he’s also the leader of a very popular boy-group, that some of those simple T-shirts cost over $100. Pre-debut

MAMA – EXO Debut (2012)
EXO debuted with 2 sub-units, EXO-K (Korea) and EXO-M (Mandarin). Suho is a Korean, so he was part of EXO-K. Their debut song was MAMA and the group released versions both in Korean and Mandarin. From EXO’s official website for this mini-album, Suho has this casual style. He wears a nice sweater and jeans. His hairstyle is different in these two pics. In the first one, his hair is fluffy and black. In the second photo, his hair is dark brown and longer in the front. In the MAMA music video, Suho has dark brown hair and The Brick Rock style. He wears a black leather jacket with a black top and jeans. In the video, Suho has water as his superpower. Let’s check out the MAMA video by EXO-K and watch the cool choreography!
How about we take a look at one of Suho’s stage styles? His jacket is a statement, with star details and plenty of bling. Underneath the jacket, he wears a black shirt painted with a silver skull and military pants. His hairstyle is the same as in the music video.
Wolf (2013)
EXO finally made a comeback with their first full album, XOXO, in 2013. This album was recorded by 12 EXO members. First, let’s take a look at the photo from their website teaser. All of them wear the same outfit, a grey suit with a white shirt, grey pants and vans, which looks like a typical school uniform. The difference is the color of their ties and hairstyles. Suho (second row, third from right) has his bangs go up in this photo. In the music video, they wear all-black and all-white outfits, but we only get a close-up shot of Suho in the white outfit. He has red-brown hair with a silver lining in this music video. He also wears large earrings, a scarf around his neck, a big, black ring, and a scarf that ties on his pants. He wears all white, but his top has some grey on the bottom and there’s a black pattern on his shoes. Watch the music video, below!
Let’s check out one of his stage styles from this era. Suho still has the same hairstyle but without the silver lining. He wears Hammer pants with a white shirt and a black leather jacket.
Growl (2013)
In August 2013, EXO came back with the XOXO repackaged album. The title song for the album was Growl (으르렁 Eureureong). This is a really great song that sold over a million copies. Let’s see the teaser photo from the EXO official website, first. The stylist plays with patterns in Suho’s look. He wears white shoes with a heart motif, paired with red and black plaid shorts. On top, he wears a long blue shirt that has colorful buttons and a black jacket. To complete his look, he also wears a black fedora hat. Growl had two version of its music video. In the first version, Suho wears gray sneakers and as the bottom, he wears short grey pants with black legging underneath. As a top, he wears a white sweater with a black blazer and a white band around his arm. Lastly, he tops it all off with a white hat. In the second version, the color theme is black and white but four members wear only black, including Suho. He has dark brown hair in this era, the same as in the Wolf era. Overdose (2014)
This is the last song performed by EXO-M and EXO-K before Kris and Luhan left the group, but we don’t want to talk about sad topics here. Let’s talk about Suho’s style! Suho has two different styles on EXO’s official website. The first one is a white shirt over black pants. what makes this look extra is his bold, black eye makeup. In Overdose Suho has changed his hair color, He has blonde hair, which suits him perfectly. In the second photo, Suho is captured in a black shirt and black beanie. He wears a few accessories to spice up his look, including a chain necklace and bracelet, plus what look like brass knuckles on each hand. Suho wears the same outfit as in the teaser image above. As the bottom, he wears jeans with a colorful jacket wrapped around his waist and brown shoes. (Suho on the top of triangle on the second photo) Second style is this gray suit, with no beanie. Call Me Baby (2015)
EXO made a comeback with their second album, Exodus, with the title song Call Me Baby. This song is really bopped with the choreography that leaves EXO-L screaming and cool outfits. Take a look! Suho came back with a casual outfit again, long sleeves and long pants. His hair looks so fluffy here. Here he wears a monochrome look in a blue shirt and blue jeans, with a hint of light brown belt. Suho dyed his hair dark brown again for the Call Me Baby era. Now let’s move one to the music video. Most of the members have heavy eye makeup, including Suho. His bangs are combed to the right side and look so silky. He wears a printed black shirt with a green metallic jacket and black pants. To give a pop of color, he also wears a white belt.
giphy.com It seems the stylist really likes Suho in a black leather jacket. In this music video, Suho can be (first from right) spotted in another black leather jacket with stars and stripes details. He seems to have the same hair color as Xiumin and Baekhyun, but with a wavy hairstyle. Let’s watch this. You will fall in love with them immediately!
Love Me Right (2015)
EXO made another comeback in 2015 with Love Me Right. Let’s take a look at the first outfit. There are three outfits in the video that all the EXO members. The first one is a rugby outfit with their names on the back of the shirts. (Suho is in the second row, second from the right). The next outfit is a black and white striped blazer and pants, but four of them wear black pants as their bottom, including Suho (4th from right). The last style they wear is a school-uniform type outfit with red ties. Suho is the 4th one from the right. For his individual teaser, Suho wears a white shirt with stripes on either side of it and jeans. For this comeback, Suho finally combed his bangs down and his hair is black.
