Hoshi was in his pre-debut period for 4 years while Woozi’s lasted for 5 years. Since becoming trainees, they both were already close and good friends. Even in 2014, Hoshi and Woozi appeared in NU’EST’s “FACE” MV alongside other SEVENTEEN members, namely Wonwoo and S.Coups. Hoshi and Woozi spent a lot of time together since being trainees. On September 2, 2021, Woozi and Hoshi explained SEVENTEEN’s performance through an interview on Weverse. In the middle of the interview, Hoshi complimented Woozi. Hoshi said: “WOOZI is a great dancer, so he makes unbelievable dance songs. Dancers know exactly the right moment to light things up.
