Pre-debut Appearance in Mnet’s Produce X 101
Before making their debut as members of TEEN TEEN, Woojin, Taeseung, and Jinwoo had already gained a lot of attention through their participation in Produce X 101 as contestants in 2019. Woojin, Taeseung, and Jinwoo appeared with their charms which made people easily recognize them afterward. All of them were showing off their amazing talents for dancing, singing, and many more. They also made stage performances with other Produce X 101 contestants as well. From their introduction video, we could see their pure and adorable image which became their attractiveness.
Unfortunately, the three of them didn’t make it to debut with the group from Produce X 101, even though the fans were expecting it. Woojin was eliminated with the final rank #41, Taeseung was eliminated with the final rank #51, while Jinwoo was eliminated with the final rank #22. Debut as Members of TEEN TEEN
TEEN TEEN officially made their debut on September 18th, 2019, and released their first single titled “It’s On You” which is included in their mini-album Very, On Top. The mini-album consists of five tracks with “It’s On You” serving as the lead track which came up with a music video as well. Their agency also released a bunch of group teasers which portrayed Woojin, Taeseung, and Jinwoo with a carefree, boyish, and vibrant concept. From their first appearance, TEEN TEEN members emphasized the cute, fresh, and youthful image that suited really well with the concept of their debut single “It’s On You”. Since the members made their debut at such a young age, TEEN TEEN also emphasized fresh music and teen pop music as well!
TEEN TEEN’s MVs Throughout The Era
From their debut, TEEN TEEN have released the mini-album Very, On Top and “It’s On You” as the title track. The single came up with a colorful music video which portrayed Woojin, Taeseung, and Jinwoo with colorful outfits and a youthful image. The members were dressed like pilots in a colorful plane, then they also danced together in a pastel-colored room. Check out the music video, here:
From TEEN TEEN To GHOST9
One year after their debut, TEEN TEEN transformed into a nine-member boy group named GHOST9. Still scouted under Maroo Entertainment, the three of them were included as the members of GHOST9 with other members such as Hwang Dong-jun, Shin, Choi Jun-seong, Lee Kang-sung, Son Jun-hyung, and Prince. The group released their first mini-album entitled Pre Episode 1: Door on September 23rd, 2020. Meanwhile, “Think of Dawn” was the title track of the album which came up with the sci-fi concept music video. Check out the music video, here:
