Tritops’ Music Videos Throughout the Years
Tritops debuted with one of their singles titled “Tree Fog”. With their debut appearance in the entertainment industry, Tritops were able to break the K-Pop genre which was at the time booming and debuted as one of the groups that sang ballads. With a sad melody line and heartbreaking lyrics that really describe Tritops’ efforts to convey the message in the song. When viewed from the “Tree Fog” music video, it was about the life of a woman living homeless by the Han River, and a man working at a company. It turns out that behind the scene in the music video there is a plot twist that is about the life of a depressed person. The second music video released from Tritops is “Irresponsibility” with a ballad which is still the main concept of Tritops. This single was released in December 2013 with a music video that tells about the journey of lovers who love each other, but it seems that the man is caught having an affair and his girlfriend asks to break up immediately. And after their relationship is over, the man seemed to regret that he had made a mistake and in the end, the woman had another new man.
In December 2013, Tritops also released a music video for another single titled “Say Love” (Hangul: 사랑한 단말). With a black and white background, a song that has a scene in the music video can look very sad, plus the ballad genre that they added to the song. It is about the love story of a boxer when he finds out that his lover is no longer with him.
On December 5th, 2013, Tritops released one of their newest music videos with the title “Love Addiction” (Hangul: 금단 현상). The genre given in this song is far different from the previous songs that were usually ballads. The music video that made for the song is about a former lover who works as a photographer and gets a job to take pictures of his ex-girlfriend with his new lover. There, he felt jealousy and flashbacks of when he was in a relationship with his ex-lover which really hurt him.
On December 7th, 2013, Tritops released the music video for their single titled “Too Foolish To You” (Hangul: 참 못 났다 내가) and showed a sad story like some of the previous songs that have been released. In winter, a man walks through town with his dog. When he was traveling, he kept seeing the shadow of a woman he knew and for a moment he also had flashbacks of previous events that he had passed together with that woman. It turned out that not only the man experienced flashbacks, but the woman also experienced the same incident.
On April 15th, 2015, Tritops released a music video titled “Missing you Missing you Missing you” (Hangul: 보고 싶다 보고 싶다 보고 싶다) with a scene that tells the story of a man who follows his girlfriend to Japan. Like the previous genre, the ballad song released by Tritops in this year’s comeback with the music video is very sad and is seen in every scene that shows a man who is desperate to find his girlfriend in another country.
On June 10th, 2015, Tritops released the music video for their single titled “Sorry That I’m Ugly” (Hangul: 못 생겨서 미안해) by showing the initial scene of a woman teasing her lover with her visual beauty. Then, they both go on a date outside and just hang out but the man still looks shy, especially when the woman sees a message on her cellphone and he gets angry because of it. However, the man is finally able to win the woman’s heart again.
On December 15th, 2017, Tritops released a music video for “우주 Marry Me” showing an animated pink planet surrounded by plants and flowers in matching colors. Even though there are no other scenes, fans can enjoy the beautiful sound of Tritops when they see this music video.
